The Bloomsbury Network’s Beyond Diagnosis Course (BDC) is a three-day closed course for anyone living with HIV that wants to come to better terms with their condition, whether they were diagnosed many years ago or just last month. The Course is led by volunteers who are themselves living with HIV and areas covered include: disclosure; medication, side effects, drug interactions/resistance and managing adherence.
The Course will be held in-person at a central London venue across three Saturdays. Sessions will start at 10:30 and finish at 15.30 each day. Participants need to attend all three sessions.
Across three Saturday sessions, participants explore:
Dealing with your diagnosis
Learning about undetectability
Medication Q&A
Handling stigma, disclosure and relationships
Equality and the law
Advice on wellbeing
The BDC is a closed group - meaning that only registered Bloomsbury Network Members living with HIV can attend.
